ACTIVE APRIL is free to join – we want to make it accessible for everyone
WHEREVER YOU ARE AND WHEREVER YOU GO, YOU CAN BE ACTIVE.
At a location that suits you. Whether you’re exercising solo, with friends, family, colleagues, or even your pet dog, you decide where and when is best for you to enjoy your daily activity.
You can find a huge range of places to work out for free… there is of course nowhere better than the great outdoors. Whether you run, ride, stretch or lift, you’ll find plenty of activities in convenient locations.
You can also feel supported in the knowledge that you will be part of a growing community around the country and even around the world that will be out and about getting active at the same time as you.
ACTIVE APRIL is all about getting active and that doesn’t need to be in a gym or fitness facility.
If 30 minutes continuous exercise is not possible then opt to break it down – maybe 2 x 15 mins will fit better into your day
The most important thing is to commit it and setting a goal that works for you.
Everyone if different – listen to your body.
Always remember to log your minutes each day.

The health and safety of all ACTIVE APRIL participants is our priority.
We know that the regulations for indoor and outdoor activity vary between countries and even between regions within different countries… please ensure you adhere to the advice given by the authorities in your area.
There is always a small risk associated with physical activity – especially if you don’t exercise often.
In most circumstances, exercising is beneficial for your physical and mental health and can be helpful as part of a long-term recovery or treatment plan. However, there are some situations where you might need to take extra care in case it starts to become a problem for you. If you are in any doubt please consult with a qualified and registered fitness instructor or your GP / Physician.
We are all unique and our approach to exercise should be too.
ACTIVE APRIL encourages setting realistic goals, that are suitable for your own personal ability and fitness level.
If you are new to exercise start with some gentle activity – maybe walking or a gentle jog.
We also encourage you to mix up your routines and activities with yoga and stretching, doing low impact sports where possible and rest when needed.

If you want to be entered into the draw to win a 7-Day Juicing and Wellness Retreat at Maison de Lunel you will need to log your activity each day throughout the month on the ACTIVE APRIL DIGITAL TRACKER.
Logging your activity is not only a great way to monitor and track yourself, it’s a great way of keeping yourself motivated
We know that technology can sometimes take the fun out of things, so as well as the Digital Tracker – we’ve created a ACTIVITY TRACKER pdf for you to download and print. Please complete your activity times each day on the form – at the end of the month we’ll be asking you to submit your completed form.

As well as the Digital Tracker – we’ve created a Challenge Calendar for you to download and print… put it in your journal, tape it to your fridge – just make sure you see it and tick it everyday!
